i feel like they tried to re-create a lot of the personality elements of the original gaang members in the new team avatar. honestly though lack of character development isn't an exuse for bad characters, i mean toph was perfectly badass at her introduction. but what really gets me is the characters, not only do they lack development at all over two complete seasons, but i feel no connection to them whatsoever. anyway the biggest reason i don't like LOK is the characters, i could go on about the plot, how korra acts like season 1 didn't happen, the ridiculous finale to season two, and so on.
